Apple Picking and More...

Last week Tyson and I went Apple Picking in Shrewsbury, MA. Yes there is a place called Shrewsbury, and my friend Ally lives there. We went while her kids were in school and we ate all kinds of good apples. We decided to only pick the good ones, mainly Honey Crisp (my favorite) and Macintosh (Jamie's favorite). Tyson had tons of fun.

This is Tyson's first day going to Church. Jamie and Tyson were matching! No, I was not matching because currently I don't have many clothes that fit me so my color choice is limited. Blast.

Father and son finally seeing eye to eye.
Here are the most current photos of Tyson. We just went to the doctor's office for his one month check up. He is doing great! He weighs 9lbs and 6oz and is 21 3/4 inches long (when he was born he weighed 6lbs 10 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long). Our little man is growing well. Also, the other big news is that at the Doctors office Tyson rolled over! It was from stomach to back, but the fact that he did it at one month is amazing. He is so strong. Just like his dad. In fact they still continue to work out together. :)

We love you all!

Life with Junior

Tyson found his finger, but just in case it tries to go anywhere he is holding it in place with his other hand.
"Say No to Jaundice!" We've been having periods of sun exposure to bring down his jaundice. It seems to have worked. Yeah!

Dad and Tyson making the same facial expressions. So cute! Simon and Luca Sivers holding Tyson. It was nice of them to come over for a bit. They thought his sunglasses were the coolest thing. Which they are I have to agree.

Junior also likes exercising. In fact he's quite good at it.

Thanks to Bryce and Lisa for the Mousercise music. We love rocking out to the Bugga Boo.

Junior's here

Well Junior finally showed up, on the same day he told us he was coming 9 months ago... his due date.

This was the first picture that we got of him, right after they cleaned him up, tenderized him, and squirt a bunch of antibiotic goo straight onto his eyes. Poor boy was probably wishing he never came out.

Junior had some special visitors...

Grampa Lee

Grandma Dottie

Grandma 'Ini

Even dad came.

Here's some other sweet pics of the babe.

He looks good once the goop in his eyes went away.

Mom was a trooper. Even though she was really tired and went through a lot, she still smiled for the first family picture, well, we're all represented at least.

He likes dad's high school colors so much that it was his first outfit home from the hospital.
Now this is tanner pride (I imagine the fish on his shirt is just as representative of a Tanner, as a bull is). We'll see how he looks in Cougar blue when he grows into his blue outfit.

We went through some serious work to choose a name for him. Even 24 hrs after birth. So Junior helped me fill out the birth certificate papers... he had the final say.

Welcome to the world. We are so happy to have you in our family. I think it has been the most rewarding experience of my long, experienced life. There is nothing like your own child.
