We were able to spend a bunch of time with my family as well this summer because my sister Anne got married to Bradley. It has been a summer of weddings. It was super fun to be with my family for a while especially since we are moving to Boston and won't get to see them as often. Anyways, in true DeMartini fashion we had a lot of fun causing trouble. Enjoy the photos.
This would be Jamie, my brother in law Bradley, and my brother Simon as they were left alone one night. They thought Nevada City needed more punk so they made their own grills out of foil.
After the wedding (pictures are to follow) we went to Lake Tahoe for some time off. Unfortunately my mom got really sick but here is a picture of her on the last day we were there. She was finally able to make it out and it was super fun.
Here is Lake Tahoe. For those of you who have never been there. It is freezing. My brother Simon thought is was fun to try and catch the geese that would wonder up the beach towards our towels.
Peter, Jamie and Papa Jon, went deep water fishing and here is what they caught. 13lbs of fish total. It was Mackinaw fish which tasted half way between salmon and a white fish. Their fishing trip fed us for many meals. Soooo good. Jamie says their fishing guide was really memorable as well.
Jamie took this flower picture. Isn't it beautiful!
Papa Jon, Jamie, Me and Junior on our hike by the river.
The castle on the Island in Emerald Bay.
Anne and Bradley's Wedding. Here is Jamie making fun of my brothers who thought spending 90% their time on their new iphones was the best thing to do. They do make it look good though.
The Capones

My brother Joey and his wife Emily
These are some pictures of where they got married. It is a state park called Empire Mine. Which used to be a very active gold mine a long time ago. It is a very beautiful and fascinating place. When you walk around this part I almost felt like I was in the movie Pride and Prejudice.
If anyone wants to see more of it just visit Nevada City, CA.
Papa Jon pitching in a Softball game. Jamie played in a double header while we were there. It was fun to watch everyone and heckle them from the sidelines. Junior wanted to play really bad but I was able to hold him back.
This is Bridgeport, a bridge that spans the river were I spent most of my childhood swimming away many hours. It also just happens to be the longest wooden single span bridge in the world. Who would have known little Grass Valley could have something so famous.
Papa Jon, Simon, Jamie, and Peter jumping off the rocks at the river. I love this river.
